MediaDefender, under contract from big media,... →
marco:
Oh, wow. Shit’s going to hit the fan on this one.
MediaDefender is the despicable contractor frequently hired by the RIAA and MPAA to hack, pollute, and disrupt P2P piracy networks. The targets are usually BitTorrent trackers used by geeks to pirate music, movies, and television shows.
MediaDefender shamelessly uses fraud, entrapment, and felony-level hacking to attempt to catch...
Back in Spain for some bussines
I just got back to Spain for some business meetings with some of our clients. I have taken advantage of the fact that back at England we have a bank holiday which means I can use the extra free time to see the family and Eurovision (yes!!! that stupid song contest is still running).
So far I have spent some time with lemongirl at our “local” having some tapas and wine :), and of...
Tuneage Reads: thesixtyone.com
tuneage:
One of the most frequently asked questions at Tuneage is “Where do you guys and gals find all this sweet music?” Well, one place is a website called thesixtyone.com. As a member you are able to “bump” the songs you like (“bumping” is thesixyone’s way of saying “I like this”). You earn points based on the number of people who bump the song after you. The more points you get, the...

On C#/AJAX and OO design
One of the problems that one has to tackle when working with different technologies is the fact that in this world each and every different language and runtime hates each other, period.
It is really hard to be able to make everything work nicely without making some sacrifices by hacking or just using ugly code and that, in my case, is a problem (just because I’m a perfecionuit :P ).
I do...
I’m not gonna make fun about the illegal immigrants (they do what they can and have no choice) but I’m gonna do it about the police man. Have you ever seen someone more useless at they work than him? This is a proof that most policemen can’t multi task (no even computers, I hate FSP!!!!)
Wow!!! I love the fact that the gaming industry is trying to get new game styles. From my point of view the industry is saturated with games that have the same game play and add nothing to the gaming “art”.
This game tries to use a different game play, alhough the game might look (in fact look like) a shooter, the stress is not on the weapon, but of the feline agility that the main...

Simply shining moronicity: Guy just commented out line that was doing main job (adding randomness from a buffer) in ssleay_rand_add — just to shut valgrind barfing about adding uninitialized data (that was already handled by a switch).
I cannot believe someone decided to shut up valgrid about that error by commenting out the line!!!!!! WTF, couldn’t he just init the var, is not that...

I wonder if anyone would notice if there wasn’t a Tuneage podcast this week. I’ve been feeling pretty good about it so far, but episode 3, which I’m editing together right now, really sucks.
I’d although you should not use that horrible computerized voice… well maybe yes, it gives it a nice touch.
