Godwin's Law 2.0

langer:

By now we’re probably all familiar with Godwin’s Law, but for those of us who aren’t, it’s an old internet adage which states: “As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.”

Godwin’s Law can be easily reformulated for the advanced text styling of the World Wide Web, as a similar degradation of quality is evidenced in both long, unformatted reblog chains as well as in comment threads. Today we might say: “As a Web discussion grows more distant from the left margin of the page, the probability of an inappropriate dick joke approaches 1.”

Case study: Brainland and I just peed all over Mills’ comment thread.

Hehee I have seen than rule applied :P
