After Derren Brown “guessed” the lottery numbers a lot of people had a guess trying to figure out how he did it. I shouldn’t care but my blood boils when I hear someone say “Well, he discarded all the special combinations like 1 2 3 4 5 6 right away cause they would never be the winning numbers.” or “I think he looked at a lot of lottery results and saw which numbers came up most often.”
There it’s out of my system. For now. Read the article that goes with the picture here. (via Cracked.com)
Well, here goes a small piece of Spanish history:
When playing at the Roulette you can actually look at lots of results and find out the results. In the early 1990s, Gonzalo Garcia-Pelayo used a computer to model the tendencies of the roulette wheels at the Casino de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. Betting the most likely numbers, along with members of his family, he was able to win over one million dollars over a period of several years.
You can actually read about it here.
Spanish are lazy, but we are smart :P
