I finally decided to get my desktop connected to the network. So far I have never done it because I was lazy and I could use it on the net by sharing the internet connection from my macbook.
I finally gave the macbook to Bea and I had to sort out the internet connection properly. This means that I can know use Ubuntu on the net (I have a non supported wireless card, which is a pain in the ass).
The conclusion is that I’m right using Ubuntu as my main OS and thanks to Mono and Monodevelop I can still develop on .NET :-)
