lemongirl:

This pict is from one of our last parties in Manchester. I’ll translate what Bea says:
Finally , this was the second attempt, we managed to drink a “proper” Long Island Ice Tea because we used the actual recipe instead of one that was made up while shopping at Tesco. There is no recipe that says you use Cointreau but you do need lemon!!
I’ve got to say that it is actually true, and the cocktail turned out to be really good. It had the three main thinks that a long Island Ice Tea should have:
Ice tea color
Ice tea flavor (or something close)
A LOT of alcohol
This is the actual recipe:
1 part vodka
1 part 1800® Tequila
1 part rum
1 part gin
1 part triple sec
1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola®
Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.I DO recommend the cocktail to anyone who wants to have a good night :)
