I love the World of GOO

This is not the first post about the World of GOO , probably one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time. It is fun too play has great cool graphics (yes I know they are not amazing 3D, but I find them great) and it reminds me to those games of the 80s (when games were more than just new version of games with better graphics and better AI).

The only thing that has been putting me back from buying the game (not anymore, read the post) was the fact that I had to run int on Windows or Mac OS X. But I really, really wanted the game, so I decided to play with the Cedega and its settings to get the game running.

Screen shots

As you can see in the screen shots you can run the World of GOO on linux :D and it works like a charm:

World of GOO - Linux + Cedega 03

World of GOO - Linux + Cedega 02

World of GOO - Linux + Cedega 01

The screen shots are from my laptop running OpenSuse x64 v.11.0. I friking love Cedega.

Settings

World of GOO does not work in Cedega out of the box, but you can get it working by changing the setting of how the Cedega server will run the game. I coul dbe an evil bastard and not give them…. but I’m no like that :P
