The Piz Gloria restaurant originated in the Ian Fleming James Bond novel On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1963),wherein the hideout of the villain, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, is Piz Gloria, a mountain-top building containing an allergies investigation clinic. The movie production team found the restaurant partly constructed, and financially contributed to its completion in return for exclusive use for filming the eponymous movie (1969), where the building is shown quite prominently. Afterwards, the restaurant retained the Piz Gloria name of the film location, and currently acknowledges its significant contribution to its commercial reputation; it features a James Bond exhibition (memorabilia and film clips) in the lower floor.

Londons Hotel
Bea and I are going to go to London for this coming belgian bank holiday. Checking in the internet about the hotel she just booked we found this:

Two people have been found dead in a hotel room after a chemical incident, emergency services said.
Police and fire services were called to the Seven Sisters Road in Finsbury Park, north London just before midday on Sunday.
The hotel has been evacuated.
A spokeswoman for London Fire Brigade said: “We are treating this as a confirmed chemical incident. The hotel has been evacuated and cordon implemented.”
She said the substance involved was not known at this stage.
The bodies are still at the scene, police said.
A Met police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 11.53am today to Costello Palace Hotel, Seven Sisters Road, N4, after two people were found deceased.
“The bodies remain at the scene. We await confirmation regarding their sexes and cause of death.
“Police and London Fire Brigade are in attendance. The hotel has been evacuated as a precaution.”
I really really hope they DO NOT give us the same room…

Crazy days
Woa!!! lately I have been working my ass big time…. Everything started when I decided to go to HR and commented that I was “not doing much” and since then I have been pack with work. I recently started to work with a far better and smarter architect than me to write a road-map of how should Electrabels extra-net be migrated from our current mesh of app to share point, and the same time I am fixing some huge problem we have with TeamSite after a terrible upgrade and on top of that the family came to visit :D
Apart from that, yesterday I had to go to Atwerpen to speak and the TexhDays where Electrabel is a partner of Microsoft… I actually did not know what I was meant to do which was good and bad. I got thee at 3.00 and I was rushed in a room through an emergency door. Dammed!!! The other room was filled by 800/900 people and there were cameras recording, I had not clue what the fuck was going on… At the end everything turned out to be quite good and fun, and I’ve got to say,Microsoft does know how to organize things. The video is somewhere in the internetz, I’ll try to post it, or maybe not :P
